Buenos Aires City Lottery – IBIA, a new alliance to cooperate on the integrity of sports betting

(City of Buenos Aires).- City Lottery – the State Company of the City of Buenos Aires that is in charge of the authorization, organization, exploitation, collection, administration and control of games of chance, including those of the sports betting - and the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), the largest sports betting integrity monitor of its kind in the world, signed a memorandum of understanding in order to continue contributing to the development of a regulated sports betting market, transparent, safe and responsible, and discourage all types of unfair or fraudulent practices and the manipulation of sports competitions in the City of Buenos Aires.
Martín García Santillán and Federico Cattadori, President and Manager of Games and Betting Control of the City Lottery, proceeded to sign this Memorandum with the IBIA, which establishes collaboration guidelines for the exchange of technical knowledge and information related to integrity . of sports and betting. This alliance is beneficial for the City Lottery since it will provide feedback to the prevention matrices and facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement actions in the fraud control and prevention system.
IBIA is a globally recognized non-profit organization that seeks to ensure integrity in the sports betting industry. Its objective is to fight corruption in betting to protect the integrity of its members, consumers and partners, such as sports organizations, from fraud caused by the manipulation of sporting events and associated bets. The signing of this Memorandum is part of the City Lottery's policy of strengthening ties with international organizations in matters of protection of the integrity of sport and sports betting and, in addition, reinforces the commitment to prevention, surveillance and detection. . from unfair or fraudulent practices, within a regulated, safe and transparent framework.
