(Río de Janeiro).- In Rio de Janeiro, Hazenclever Lopes Cançado, president of LOTERJ, issued an act published on Monday in SEI. This act informs about the reopening of the accreditation deadline for public lottery services within the state. It defines general criteria for commercial operation in a virtual and exclusively competitive environment.
The criteria apply to lottery modalities authorized by current legislation. Additionally, it covers any other virtual lotteries compatible or corresponding to the authorized modalities. This accreditation period spans up to five years.
The amount of the fixed licence fee is still R$5 million and the variable fee is 5% of the GGR. Companies/consortia can now apply for accreditation to obtain a licence to operate fixed-odds lottery betting and online games from the Rio de Janeiro State Lottery - LOTERJ.
According to the Rio de Janeiro authority's notice, all the clauses and conditions of Accreditation Notice 01/2023 are maintained, which will remain open and available for qualification requests until 6pm on the 30th calendar day following the publication of the Notice of Reopening, which will be on 13 June.
Those interested in accreditation must submit an Expression of Interest to be sent to Loterj headquarters along with the documents listed in the Accreditation Notice and its amendments. Further information can be found on the Loterj Accreditation Notice page. Reopening of the Accreditation Notice Deadline.pdf.
