We hope that Federal regulation is as successful as Paraná, thus bringing more security to the national sports betting market. I also highlight that, since the implementation of Lottopar, we have been talking to various Federal Government bodies, including Coaf, to promote actions in line with the Federation's entities, always respecting the legislation, such as the issue of territoriality, for example, where betting companies regulated in Paraná can only operate within the jurisdiction of the State and those that eventually become accredited by the Federal Government must operate in the State as long as they are regulated and legalized” highlighted the CEO of Lottopar, Daniel Romanowski.

“Since we began the process of structuring Lottopar, we have sought to study the best international practices, in regulated markets that have already been operating for years, and implement these measures in our State. We have synergy on several topics with the Prizes and Betting Secretariat and we want to work together with the Union so that Paraná's good practices continue to be a model for other state lotteries”, stated the operations director, Fabio Veiga.

“I consider it essential to highlight the relevance of our recent meeting with the Federal Government’s Prizes and Betting Secretariat. It was a strategic meeting where we discussed not only current regulations, but possible updates and future collaborations to promote transparency, security and efficiency in our sector”, confirmed technical director, Rafael Halila.

SISCOAF – Since 2023, Lottopar has been strengthening ties with other Federal Government bodies, including the Financial Activities Control Council (COAF), aiming to reinforce the practices already adopted by Lottopar and implement practices in the Paraná lottery market that prevent money laundering. money. As a result, in February this year, Lottopar qualified for the Federal Government's Financial Activities Control System (Siscoaf). Thus, sports betting companies authorized to operate in Paraná now have an obligation to report suspicious activities, a measure that brings more fairness to the state lottery market.

Participating in the meeting, for Lottopar, were the Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Romanowski; the Director of Operations, Fabio Veiga; the Technical Director, Rafael Halila; and for the Prizes and Betting Secretariat, the Deputy Secretary, Simone Vicentini; the General Coordinator of Systems of the Undersecretariat of Monitoring and Inspection, Renato Perez Pucci; and the advisor, Marcelo Damato.
