Novomatic Lottery solutions receives the responsible Gaming Certification by WLA

This certification allows suppliers like NLS to benchmark their corporate social responsibility practices against a recognized industry set of standards and proves that player protection is at the core of the operation. Although NLS has been devoted to Responsible Gaming policies and Corporate Social Responsibility practices since its very beginnings, this achievement marks an important step forward for the company.

NLS has successfully passed the certification through an external audit carried out by the independent, WLA-approved assessor BSI Group. All NLS products and services, as well as best practices towards lottery customers, have been analysed and assessed in the process.

The WLA Responsible Gaming Standard covers eight main areas, including the employee program dealing with employee engagement in responsible gaming. All NLS employees were obliged to undergo internal training and a follow-up test on responsible gaming. By successfully completing this process, NLS has demonstrated a commitment to responsible gaming and demonstrated compliance with all WLA’s standards.

NLS will continue to examine the best practices in the field of responsible gaming and actively participate in the WLA’s Responsible Gaming program. This Responsible Gaming Certification is valid until 2020 when NLS will seek recertification to WLA Standard.
