United Kingdom Certifier eCogra receives credential package at Lottopar event

On the afternoon of this sixth fair (23), at Lottopar headquarters, the representatives of the eCogra testing and certification laboratory will participate in the ceremony for the delivery of the credential certificate. The company had only been accredited since March of this year and has since been able to work alongside lottery and sports betting operators to carry out tests and issue certificates in Paraná territory. No lottery operator receives the concession for the marketing of lottery products and betting without first presenting all the certificates from the laboratories that attest that the lottery products and systems comply with the safety standards and regulations established by Lottopar.

“Lottopar, before authorizing the marketing of lottery products and fixed-quota betting, has as a priority establishing in Paraná the best international practices of safe and responsible gaming. For this reason we open the edition to accredit laboratories of international renown that are now attesting to the quality and safety of lottery products marketed in our State”, declared the Director of Operations of Lottopar, Fabio Veiga.

Paraná was the pioneer in Brazil in carrying out the credentialing of these laboratories, thus guaranteeing that any lottery and sports betting operation only begins in the State with the presentation of two certificates required for Lottopar. This guarantees the security of the Paranaense lottery market in all stages of the process, in addition to offering a safe entertainment experience for the bettor. The laboratories receive a credential valid for one year, which can be renewed annually.

These laboratories operate in the betting and gaming market and perform a function similar to the National Institute of Metrology, Quality and Technology (Inmetro), which promotes tests and guarantees for quality and safety, for example, two jumps for children, safety belts, industrial equipment, thus guaranteeing that it is safe.
