WLA Opens Registration for World Lottery Summit 2026 in Sydney

The World Lottery Association (WLA) announced the official opening of registrations for the World Lottery Summit 2026 (WLS 2026) in Sydney, the leading event for the regulated lottery and sports betting industry worldwide. The event will take place from November 9 to 12, 2026, at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney, Australia, and will be co‑organized with the local lottery, The Lottery Corporation.

As the organization that brings together state operators from Ibero‑America and maintains close ties with international industry bodies, Cibelae encourages its members to participate in these spaces for debate. This year’s summit is presented as a strategic platform for knowledge exchange and analysis of the trends that will define the future of state lotteries.

Technical Agenda and International Networking

The WLS 2026 program will include conference sessions focused on innovation, sustainability, and best management practices in regulated gaming. In addition, the event will feature a trade exhibition where suppliers and operators will showcase the latest technological advances applied to the industry.

The organization emphasized that the summit will facilitate dialogue among executives, regulators, and decision‑makers from five continents, fostering institutional collaboration in a changing global environment.

Logistical Recommendations for Ibero‑American Attendees

The WLA has enabled the official event website so that interested delegations can secure their place. Due to the host country’s migration requirements, two main recommendations were issued for international attendees:

Visa management: Participants from the Ibero‑American region must hold a valid passport and, in most cases, apply for an Australian visa. The organization urges attendees to begin the process well in advance with the relevant consular offices, as requirements vary depending on nationality.

Accommodation: While lodging reservations are the responsibility of each attendee, preferential rates have been confirmed at the host hotel, Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour. Access details to these benefits will be provided once registration is completed.

All information about the program, registration fees, and forms is already available on the official World Lottery Association platform: worldlotterysummit.org.
