(Bogota).- During 2023, online gaming operators transferred $317,977 million to the health sector. By 2024, online betting users will be able to play on 15 platforms that have a current operating contract and, therefore, are the only ones authorized by Coljuegos to operate in the country.

“We want players to be clear about which portals work legally. In this way, we seek to provide them with security when placing their bets online,” said the president of Coljuegos, Marco Emilio Hincapié.

According to the president, among the new features for 2024 are the change of company name of the Betfair platform, which now functions as Stake Colombia S.A.S. on the website www.stake.com.co.

“We also inform that the platform www.mozzartbet.com.co ended its concession contract and is currently in the liquidation process. Therefore, this is no longer a portal authorized by Coljuegos,” said Hincapié.

It is worth noting that the type of games operated over the Internet transferred around $317,977 million in exploitation rights to Coljuegos during the year 2023. In addition, it is expected that for the current period these transfers will amount to $356,403 million.

“These resources were allocated to provide health services to low-income Colombians. For this reason, we invite all players to bet legally, as this represents both protection for their investments and a benefit for citizens affiliated with the subsidized regime,” he indicated.
