(Malta).- It was a double celebration for Evolution Gaming in this year’s Gaming Intelligence Awards with the company crowned Casino Supplier of the Year, while also picking up Game of the Year for MONOPOLY Live.
The Gaming Intelligence Awards recognise excellence within the industry’s leading operators and suppliers, over the last twelve months, across a host of categories. In what Gaming Intelligence described as the most hotly contested category, Evolution was awarded Casino Supplier of the Year based on an outstanding year of financial performance, new signings, the creation of the live Game Shows category and new product launches including MONOPOLY Live.
Created via sublicense from Scientific Games and available exclusively from Evolution, MONOPOLY Live is a unique live online game show based on one of the world’s most popular games, complete with augmented reality, 3D Bonus rounds built around the adventures of the MR. MONOPOLY character, and with the chance of big ‘multiplier’ wins. Scientific Games holds rights to the MONOPOLY brand through a license agreement with Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS).
Speaking after the award win, Evolution’s Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter said: “It is an honour to receive such industry recognition winning both of these awards. It has been an incredible twelve months at Evolution and these awards are dedicated to our hardworking and talented team.”
Haushalter continued regarding the Game of the Year award win: “We are thrilled to win this award for MONOPOLY Live and it has been a pleasure to see the success of this unique game, one that not only we love, but players love too. With its unique blend of Live Casino, RNG and augmented reality technology it appeals to a totally new player segment, some of whom do not traditionally play table games.”
The MONOPOLY name and logo, the distinctive design of the game board, the four corner squares, the MR.
