AGA kicked off RGEM 2023 and released NFL wagering estimates

(Washington).- Every September, Responsible Gaming Education Month (RGEM) provides an important opportunity for our community to celebrate and advance our industry’s collective commitment to responsible gaming, said AGA in a press release.

AGA kicked off RGEM 2023 and released NFL wagering estimates

The AGA kicked off the celebration earlier this week by releasing new consumer survey data showing strong responsible gaming awareness among American adults, as well as confidence among customers in responsible gaming tools and initiatives. Importantly, responsible gaming awareness remains high as the legal market continues to expand.

Another annual tradition, the AGA released NFL wagering estimates, showing 73.5 million American adults will wager on this year’s season, up 58 percent from 2022. The continued demand reflects the five new markets since last September and, importantly, the continued migration of Americans to the legal, regulated market.

"These topics and more will be front and center next month when G2E brings the global gaming community to Las Vegas, starting October 9. Look forward to seeing you there," said AGA sources.
