(Sofia).- In response to the catastrophic earthquakes in Venezuela—which have left thousands of families homeless and countless animals hurt, stray, or separated from their owners—Amusnet is introducing a charity campaign aimed at transforming gaming into meaningful support.

Amusnet's Initiative: Supporting Dogs Affected by Venezuela's Earthquakes

Sometimes, a game can become more than entertainment. Sometimes, it can become a way to make a real difference.

Following the devastating earthquakes that struck Venezuela, leaving thousands of families displaced and countless animals injured, abandoned, or separated from those who cared for them, Amusnet is launching a solidarity initiative designed to turn play into purpose.

Throughout July 2026, Amusnet will dedicate an amount equivalent to 100% of the invoiced value of Caramelo Sortudo to support the relief efforts. The company will grant its operator partners across Venezuela a full discount on the game's invoicing, encouraging each partner to donate the equivalent amount to local foundations and organizations dedicated to rescuing, treating, and protecting dogs affected by the disaster.

The campaign spotlights Caramelo Sortudo as its central feature

The initiative centers around Caramelo Sortudo, one of Amusnet's most beloved titles and a game created specifically for the Latin American market. Inspired by Brazil's iconic caramelo street dog which is a symbol of resilience, optimism, and companionship deeply rooted in local culture, the game was designed as a celebration of the everyday hero that has captured the hearts of millions across the region.

Today, that same symbol of hope takes on an even deeper meaning.

The story of Caramelo has always been about second chances. By placing the game at the heart of this initiative, Amusnet hopes to help provide exactly that to the many dogs whose lives have been upended by the earthquakes.

Statements by Hillary Flores

“At Amusnet, we believe that companies have a responsibility to stand by communities when they need support the most. Caramelo Sortudo has always been a game about resilience and hope, making it the natural choice for this initiative. We hope this campaign inspires our partners and the wider industry to come together and help those who cannot ask for help themselves," said Hillary Flores, LATAM Marketing Manager at Amusnet.

Beyond the initiative itself, Amusnet also calls on the wider iGaming industry and its partners to support the many humanitarian and animal welfare organizations working tirelessly on the ground in Venezuela. Every contribution can help bring relief, care, and hope to those rebuilding their lives after the disaster.
