Gaming Laboratories International (GLI®) has announced the promotion of Malvina Mikaelian and Reenesh Mahabeer to the role of Senior Director of Engineering, recognizing their long-standing contributions, leadership, and impact on the company’s global engineering operations.

Based at GLI’s Las Vegas laboratory, Mikaelian brings 22 years of experience with the organization. Throughout her career at GLI, she has played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s global footprint, including the successful launch of GLI’s laboratories in South Africa and Las Vegas. She has also led engineering teams through some of the most transformative technological advancements in the gaming industry.

Reenesh Mahabeer, who is based at GLI’s South Africa laboratory, has been with the company for nearly 20 years, advancing from Senior Engineer to his newly appointed position as Senior Director of Engineering. He has successfully guided his teams through significant regulatory and technological changes within the South African gaming market, across both land-based gaming and iGaming environments.
