(Las Vegas).- In an inspiring new episode of Illuminating Conversations, Global Gaming Women’s new president Cassie Stratford joins GLI GEO James Maida for an enlightening discussion about diversity and women in the industry; mentorship and volunteerism; and how lessons learned as a new lawyer guide her approach to business and life.
In addition to her volunteer role as GGW president, Cassie is VP of Legal Affairs and Assistant General Counsel for Boyd Gaming Corporation. Prior to joining Boyd Gaming, she was a commercial litigation attorney in the Las Vegas office of Snell & Wilmer L.L.P. She is involved in Georgetown and UNLV Law alumni programs, serves as a regular volunteer for the Ask-a-Lawyer program through the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada, and is involved in various other community organizations. Her background has positioned her to guide GGW into the next decade, and in this episode, she gives her insights into the future of how diversity will benefit and shape the gaming industry over the next decade.
