In her leadership role, Wong will serve as an essential resource for lottery clients and work with lottery suppliers and technology vendors to facilitate end-to-end success in the lottery industry. She will identify technical and business challenges facing U.S. and international lotteries and develop a strategy for engagement and serving of lottery-related needs in every region of the world.

Prior to joining GLI, Wong was director of the Montana Lottery, where she earned an international reputation for her leadership and innovative approach. She also is the immediate past president of the North American States and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL), where she also held multiple leadership positions over 10 years. She is also the immediate past vice president of the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL).
 
Wong's unique set of skills will allow her to quickly engage in GLI's work to help its lottery clients navigate the changing landscape and leverage new opportunities created by emerging technology and new delivery channels.
 
"I'm thrilled to join the prestigious GLI team and for the opportunity to contribute my experience and knowledge to the success of its clients during this exciting and dynamic time in the lottery industry," Wong said.
 
Wong will work alongside GLI Senior Vice President of Government Relations and General Counsel Kevin Mullally and will join the eight other GLI team members with senior lottery or regulatory leadership experience with a government agency.

"Angela's knowledge of the lottery industry and her global network of industry stakeholders will be an invaluable element in GLI's continuing work to help our clients succeed."
 
Wong is the latest high-profile thought leader and influencer to join GLI, further adding to the company's global bench strength. The company also recently announced a series of promotions across staff levels and throughout its global locations.
