(Lübbecke). – Merkur Group continues its strategic growth and international expansion with the appointment of Marcel Heutmekers as Senior Vice President of Merkur Games International, effective immediately.
In this key leadership role, Marcel Heutmekers will spearhead the company’s expansion into global gaming markets and strengthen its existing international presence.
“Marcel Heutmekers brings exceptional industry expertise and a wealth of experience from his extensive career,” said Dominik Raasch, Management Board Member at Merkur Games. “His deep knowledge of international gaming markets will be invaluable as we continue to grow our global footprint.”
At 51, Heutmekers will focus on driving growth in established markets while establishing Merkur’s brand in new territories. “My mission is to position Merkur Gaming as a leading provider of high-quality gaming products worldwide,” Heutmekers commented. “I look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues and achieving significant successes together in the coming years.”
With more than 25 years in the gaming industry, Heutmekers is a proven leader, having held senior positions at IGT and most recently at Aristocrat. His extensive experience makes him an ideal fit for the role and a valuable asset to the Merkur Group’s continued international growth.
