(London).- MERKUR UK continued its support for the less fortunate with a presentation to the bacta Charitable Trust
MERKUR UK called on the services of world number 1 paralympic table tennis star and Brand Ambassador Will Bayley MBE to help make a presentation for £5,000 to the Charitable Trust run by industry trade association, bacta.
Will, who is training for the Paris Games where he is favourite to bring home the gold medal, took time out from his training schedule to make the presentation at EAG Expo, the industry trade show held each year at the ExCeL Centre situated in London’s Docklands.
Speaking to media at the table tennis themed presentation made to bacta National President John Bollom and Mark Horwood, who was representing the Charitable Trust, Will said: “I’ve been really impressed by the positive community work undertaken by both MERKUR UK and by bacta supporting those in society who are less fortunate.
“It’s a great honour to be at EAG to see all aspects of the industry, to meet the team from the Trust and of course to make the presentation to the bacta Charitable Trust to help it continue its superb work.”
MERKUR UK General Manager Sascha Blodau said: “We admire the great work that has been undertaken by the Trust since it was formed in 1991 and we are delighted to be able to bring Will Bayley to EAG in order to help make the presentation.
“Will is an outstanding ambassador for the MERKUR UK brand and he has the full support of the entire MERKUR team as he focusses on winning gold in the summer.”
