NOVOMATIC Italia inaugurated its new headquarters in Rome

(Rome).- In the presence of the entire Board of Directors, the inauguration ceremony of the new NOVOMATIC Italia headquarters in Rome, in the Eur Montagnola district, has been held in recent days.
Chairman Franco Sergio Rota, CEO Markus Buechele and COO Karl Plank cut the ribbon, NOVOMATIC's rigorously blue, thus starting a new chapter in the Group's Roman presence that marks the beginning of the progressive return to "work face-to-face" for employees.
To protect the health of all, in compliance with the anti-contagion provisions currently in force, and anxiously waiting to be able to organize a plenary party, as soon as the pandemic situation allows, the event was held in the presence of senior management representing the entire company staff.
The building, a sky-land that houses all the Group's companies, has a gross area of approximately 10,000 square meters and has a low-emission energy performance that, thanks to an innovative management system, is well adapted to the needs modern in this area organizational efficiency.
We have not missed the opportunity to make the workplace a context that can favor socialization processes, strengthening the sense of belonging and consolidating the business "community", through spaces that can be exploited for the organization of events and cultural, recreational and sports initiatives.

Adriano Tranquilli, Director of Group Supply Chain Management and Corporate Services, who followed all the renovation phases of the building, tells us some details: "The move to the new headquarters in Via Benedetto Croce has as its objective give a direct and indirect impact Contribution to a substantial improvement in Novomatic's performance, which can be pursued both in terms of cost optimization and in terms of establishing an operational context and a better organizational climate, to the benefit of the Group and, even earlier, of all our employees, the most important resource. Taking this into account, the same operation also aims to convey an important message to the entire market: NOVOMATIC invests in Italy! Changing offices means, today, searching a new organizational and operational structure, and not simply combine the needs in terms of environmental impact with the profiles that characterize and l use of agile work ”.
In terms of energy savings, the new NOVOMATIC Italia headquarters integrates solutions and innovations aimed at strengthening the green sensitivity, in line with the Group's Corporate Responsibility objectives in the world: a fully LED lighting system, a solar thermal system in the ceiling for the production of domestic hot water, a BMS (Building Management System) that allows the centralized management, on site and remotely, of the electrical and heating-cooling systems and thus ensures the reduction of waste and the optimization of the management costs.
Finally, the new Roman headquarters of NOVOMATIC Italia is trying to successfully tackle a thousand-year-old problem typical of the capital's territory, that of parking and mobility. In this, post-Covid mobility acted as a driving force, giving the opportunity to integrate the 130 parking spaces with the creation of areas dedicated to low-emission vehicles, such as electric bicycles and skateboards, a project currently underway. Meanwhile, the building may have some charging stations for electric vehicles, the number of which is expected to increase in the coming months, hand in hand with the increased presence in the company's fleet of plug-in, hybrids or electric vehicles.
