(London).- SBC, the betting and gaming industry's leading media and events business, has further strengthened its sales team with the appointments of Jan Kowalczyk as Business Development Director - Malta and Tom Bullen as Sales Manager, as well as Samantha Bailey as Sales Support Executive.
Kowalczyk is an experienced sales professional with a background in the technology, fintech and events industries, and joins SBC from SiGMA.
His new role will see him manage SBC's relationships with games developers, platform and tech suppliers, operators, and affiliates within the Maltese igaming community.
The appointment comes ahead of SBC's first in-person conference of 2021, CasinoBeats Summit, which takes place at the InterContinental in St Julian's, Malta on 14-15 July, with the content also broadcast online to an international audience.
Rasmus Sojmark, Founder and CEO of SBC, said: "We're delighted that Jan has joined us in what is an important role for the company. Malta has developed into a centre of excellence for igaming and many of the industry's most innovative and creative companies now have a base there. So it's great for us to have someone on the ground to strengthen our relationships with those businesses.
"Jan and I will both be at CasinoBeats Summit, and we're looking forward to meeting the cream of Malta's gaming industry at the event."
Bullen, who will be part of SBC's London-based sales team, has a strong background in the betting and gaming industry. Having worked for Playtech earlier in his career, he joins SBC after spending the past three years with Kambi.
Conall McCabe, Sales Director for SBC, said: "I'm excited about what Tom will bring to the great team we already have. His background in the industry gives him an in-depth insight into the key requirements of suppliers and he'll be a real asset to every customer he works with."
Bailey also brings directly relevant experience, in her case from the events industry, as she joins SBC from Olympia London.
The three new additions follow hot on the heels of the hiring of Bob McFarland as Senior Vice President Sales & Commercial - Americas and Richard Deacon as Sales Manager, as SBC continues to invest in building its team to support the company's ambitious growth plans.
It has a packed schedule of B2B conferences and exhibitions in the coming months, including 2021's biggest international sports betting and igaming show, SBC Summit Barcelona on 21-24 September.
That will be followed by SBC Summit CIS in Kyiv on 13-14 October, SBC Summit Latinoamérica in Miami on 27-28 October, Betting on Sports Europe in London on 9-11 November, SBC Summit North America in New Jersey on 30 November - 2 December, and the SBC Awards in London on 14 December.
SBC also boasts a rapidly-growing media division that includes some of the betting and gaming industry's most-read B2B websites, multiple podcast series, and a busy programme of webinars.
