(Macau).- Galaxy Entertainment Group has unveiled intentions to launch a Capella Hotels and Resorts establishment by the middle of the upcoming year. This marks the debut of a Capella property within the Greater Bay Area.
Galaxy Entertainment Group has revealed its intention to open a Capella Hotels and Resorts venue in the heart of next year, marking the inaugural Capella establishment within the Greater Bay Area. As per a statement issued by the casino operator on Thursday, the forthcoming property, Capella at Galaxy Macau, is described as a “gilded mansion.” It will have a total of 17 floors, with 36 “sky villas” and 57 suites.
“The interiors are inspired by the jungle and the lush green hills of Macau. Each Sky Villa features a light-filled balcony with a transparent infinity-edge pool, outdoor lounge, sunroom and hidden conservatory, providing guests with a tranquil natural experience all year round,” the statement said.
The villas will include amenities such as a butler’s pantry, a karaoke room with a cigar butler and premium collection, a private cocktail bar and a games lounge.
Each suite will have a private plunge pool and balcony with views of the city skyline.
The property is being designed by Paris-based Moinard Bētaille, which has worked on some of the world’s leading luxury brand boutiques, including global flagships for Cartier, Breitling and Audemars Piguet.
According to the gaming operator, Capella at Galaxy Macau will work with various experts in the fields of art and food.
They will curate a wide range of artworks and work with Vicky Cheng, a renowned chef from Hong Kong who has been recognised as one of Asia’s top 50 chefs and has been awarded Michelin stars.
