Following a $3 bet on the Atlanta Falcons theme, he initially thought he had won $1,700, but was shocked to learn it was in fact the $1.7 million jackpot.

This win marks the first jackpot over $1 million dollars on an NFL-themed slot machine and is the largest wide area progressive (WAP) jackpot awarded by Aristocrat Gaming in the state of Oregon.
