Macau regulators have revised the regulations for the casino game Fortune 3 Card Poker, replacing two directives originally issued by the Secretary for Economy and Finance in 2008.This game contributed about MOP897 million (US$112.2 million) in the first three quarters of 2025.
In 2024 alone, the annual contribution stood at MOP1.07 billion, up from MOP944 million a year earlier.
Under the rules announced on Monday, this card game involves a standard deck of 52 playing cards, a dealer’s shoe, a cut card, and an automatic shuffling machine.
Moreover, an additional system with an electronic display is required to operate the so-called Progressive Jackpot – one of two side bets, the other being Six Card Bonus.

Slot machines produced about MOP10.23 billion in gross revenue.
Despite a dip the month before following a winning streak, October proved to be the best performer since the same month in 2019, raking in nearly MOP24.09 billion.
