Macau regulators have revised the regulations for the casino game Fortune 3 Card Poker, replacing two directives originally issued by the Secretary for Economy and Finance in 2008.This game contributed about MOP897 million (US$112.2 million) in the first three quarters of 2025.

In 2024 alone, the annual contribution stood at MOP1.07 billion, up from MOP944 million a year earlier.

Under the rules announced on Monday, this card game involves a standard deck of 52 playing cards, a dealer’s shoe, a cut card, and an automatic shuffling machine.

Moreover, an additional system with an electronic display is required to operate the so-called Progressive Jackpot – one of two side bets, the other being Six Card Bonus.

Basic betting options include Ante Bet and Pair Plus Bet.

Information from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau shows that in 2025, Baccarat appears to be the biggest revenue contributor, with the first three quarters of the year producing a gross revenue of MOP106.4 billion – followed by VIP Baccarat at MOP47.67 billion.

Slot machines produced about MOP10.23 billion in gross revenue.

Despite a dip the month before following a winning streak, October proved to be the best performer since the same month in 2019, raking in nearly MOP24.09 billion.
