Las Vegas Strip Revenue Declined in 2025 After Record-Breaking 2024

(Las Vegas).- Resort revenue declined both statewide and on the Strip over the past year compared with a record‑setting 2024, yet casinos still posted some of the strongest figures in history, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Resort Revenue Falls Across Nevada and the Strip

Resort revenue shrank statewide and on the Strip in the last 12 months, compared with a stellar 2024, but casinos still put up some of the loftiest numbers in history, the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Nevada casinos grossing $1 million or more in gaming revenue generated net income of $1,697,540,577 during the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Nevada, Strip revenue slipped in ’25, thanks to ’24 being best year

The 305 casinos produced total revenues of $30,817,837,749 during fiscal year 2025. Gaming revenue accounted for $11,216,361,427, or 36.4% of total revenue. The casinos paid $1,140,863,260 in gaming taxes and fees, equating to 10.2% of their gaming revenue.

Net income statewide decreased 34.8% from fiscal year 2024, while total revenue declined 2.2% and gaming revenue dropped 0.6%.
