Nevada Casinos Report $1.38 B Win in July 2026, posting 8th-highest month

July is the eighth-best month ever for Nevada Casinos

Nevada casinos had their eighth-best month ever, raking in more than $1.38 billion in July, according to state gaming officials.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board reported a statewide win of $1,387,795,619, about 2.1% higher than July 2025. The Las Vegas Strip casinos beat last July’s win by 3.6%, taking $776.3 million from gamblers. Strip casinos offset lower wins for Downtown Las Vegas, the Boulder Strip, and locals casinos in totals for the balance of Clark County.

• Statewide: $1,387,795,619 (+2.1%)
• Clark County (includes the Strip): $1,173,130,586 (+1.5%)
• Las Vegas Strip: $776,338,593 (+3.6%)
• Balance of Clark County: $164,046,950 (-1.2%)
• Boulder Strip: $82,670,748 (-2.5%)
• Reno: $76,882,981 (+1.0%)
• Downtown Las Vegas: $68,468,139 (-8.6%)
• Laughlin: $41,035,405 (+0.1%)
• South Lake Tahoe: $39,623,041 (+5.1%)
• North Las Vegas: $25,490,477 (+3.4%)
• Mesquite: $15,080,273 (-0.5%)

July accounts for four of the 11 biggest months in state history, all at $1.359 billion or higher. Nevada just had its best June of all time this year. August is typically a slower month for casinos.

Strong performances from casinos have continued despite a dropoff in the number of people visiting Las Vegas. But July saw an increase in visitors.

“Nevada continued to record gaming win amounts in excess of pre-pandemic levels this month,” according to Shelley Newell, senior economic analyst for the gaming board. “Statewide total win was 35.4% OR $362.7 million over July 2019.  July 2026 represents the 65th consecutive month that the State has recorded $1.0 billion in monthly gaming win.”

Newell noted that for the calendar year so far, the win total is 3.0% ahead of 2025. The Strip is 3.3% ahead of last year.

July had one more weekend day than it did last year, which also boosted casino wins.

Nevada collected $98,464,433 in percentage fees through Aug. 21, based on the taxable revenues generated in July 2026.
