(St. Gallen).- Sportradar reported revenue of €363 million for the third quarter of 2026, representing a 24% year-over-year increase, driven primarily by growth in Betting Technology & Solutions, expanded prediction market partnerships and higher demand for its sports data and technology services. The company also recorded a 20% rise in quarterly profit and a 21% increase in Adjusted EBITDA.
Betting Technology & Solutions Drives Revenue Growth
For the three months ended September 30, 2026, Sportradar generated total revenue of €362.5 million, compared with €292.1 million in the same period last year.
The strongest contribution came from its Betting Technology & Solutions segment, which recorded revenue of €296.7 million, up 27% year-over-year. Within this division, Betting & Gaming Content revenue increased 37% to €242 million, reflecting the contribution from the acquisition of IMG ARENA and greater adoption of the company's products and services among existing and new customers.
The company highlighted growing demand from prediction market participants as another factor supporting its performance.
Meanwhile, Managed Betting Services revenue declined 3% to €54.7 million. According to Sportradar, higher turnover from Managed Trading Services was offset by lower trading margins resulting from unfavorable sports outcomes.
The Sports Content, Technology & Services segment generated €65.8 million, an 11% increase compared with the third quarter of 2025.
Within this division, Marketing & Media Services grew 15% to €50.7 million, supported by contributions from new and existing media and technology customers, as well as increased affiliate marketing spending from sportsbook and prediction market operators. Integrity Services revenue also increased 16% to €4.8 million, while Sports Performance declined 8% to €10.3 million.
US Market and Prediction Markets Expand Their Contribution
Sportradar reported revenue growth across its geographical markets, with particularly strong performance in the United States.
US revenue increased 47% year-over-year to €98 million, accounting for 27% of total quarterly revenue, compared with 23% in the third quarter of 2025. The company attributed this expansion to market growth, including prediction markets, and increased customer adoption of its premium content and solutions.
Revenue from the Rest of World reached €264.5 million, up 17% compared with the previous year.
Prediction markets also featured prominently in the company's commercial developments during the quarter.
Sportradar expanded its partnership with Polymarket to cover more than 20 leagues and competitions, including the Bundesliga, EuroLeague Basketball and the Tennis Grand Slams.
It also entered into agreements with prediction market makers and brokers, extending its presence across different layers of the sports prediction market ecosystem and diversifying its customer base.
Commenting on the results, Carsten Koerl, CEO of Sportradar, said: "Sportradar delivered another strong quarter of double-digit growth, once again demonstrating the value of our role as a key technology and content partner to the global sports ecosystem."
He added that performance was supported by demand for the company's premium content portfolio, deep data and technology solutions, including further monetization of the acquired IMG ARENA rights and contributions from across the prediction markets landscape.
"Fans are engaging with sports across more platforms than ever before, expanding our addressable market and increasing demand for our products and solutions," Koerl stated.
Profit and Adjusted EBITDA Continue to Increase
Sportradar recorded a quarterly profit of €27 million, representing a 20% increase compared with the same period in 2025.
Adjusted EBITDA reached €102 million, up 21% from €85 million a year earlier, while the adjusted EBITDA margin stood at 28.2%.
The company attributed the improvement primarily to revenue growth and lower adjusted personnel costs, partially offset by expenses associated with IMG ARENA, particularly sports rights.
Net cash generated from operating activities increased 37% to €157 million, while free cash flow reached €73 million, representing a 12% year-over-year increase.
Sportradar also repurchased US$157 million worth of shares during the quarter under its share repurchase plan.
EuroLeague Basketball Rights Extended Through 2031
Beyond its financial performance, Sportradar announced the extension of its exclusive global distribution agreement for EuroLeague Basketball official data and audiovisual betting rights through 2031.
The agreement covers more than 650 games annually across the EuroLeague and BKT EuroCup competitions, reinforcing the company's position in the distribution of official basketball data and betting content.
Another relevant corporate development concerns the planned divestiture of Atrium Sports, the Coaching & Scouting business of Synergy Sports.
Announced on October 7, the definitive agreement with Teamworks Innovations values the transaction at US$170 million. The sale is intended to streamline Sportradar's business while retaining capabilities considered important for future growth and innovation. Closing is currently expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary conditions.
Sportradar Maintains Its 2026 Financial Outlook
Despite the developments in its business portfolio, Sportradar reiterated its full-year 2026 financial guidance.
The company expects revenue growth of 19% to 21% on a constant currency basis. Based on current foreign exchange rates, revenue is projected to reach between €1.518 billion and €1.533 billion.
Adjusted EBITDA is expected to grow between 24% and 27% on a constant currency basis, corresponding to a reported range of €360 million to €368 million.
The company also forecasts adjusted EBITDA margin expansion of approximately 70 to 100 basis points and expects its free cash flow conversion rate to exceed the 56% recorded in 2025, excluding the impact of non-routine litigation costs.
The guidance does not yet incorporate the anticipated divestiture of Atrium Sports, with any necessary adjustments to be considered following the transaction's completion.
Sportradar's latest results highlight the continued expansion of its betting technology and content operations, alongside its growing involvement in prediction markets. With stronger US performance, additional sports rights and new commercial partnerships, the company enters the final quarter of 2026 maintaining its growth and profitability targets.
