(Cyprus).- Argentina, Turkey and Malaysia are the first markets analyzed in a collection based on proprietary player data and market research.
Uplatform has launched “Zoom In”, a new series of country-focused market reports designed to help operators assess opportunities and challenges before entering a new jurisdiction.
The collection begins with Argentina, Turkey and Malaysia, three markets with very different characteristics in terms of opportunities, audiences and operating conditions.
The reports combine Uplatform’s proprietary research with player data and examine factors that go beyond each market’s overall potential. These include regulatory pathways, local payment habits, content preferences, acquisition strategies, and the factors that influence player trust and retention.
An analysis that goes beyond market statistics
The “Zoom In” series brings together information that is often scattered across market data, player research, regulatory information and payment analysis.
Each ebook interprets this data through the key questions operators face when planning a market launch: regulation, localization, payments, product, acquisition and retention.
“A new market can look exciting, but the real value lies in understanding what the numbers mean for the operation. Zoom In brings Uplatform’s own data and market insight into one practical view, so operators can see the opportunities, the pressure points and the preparation each country demands,” said Maria, Head of Marketing at Uplatform.
Argentina, Turkey and Malaysia under the spotlight
The Argentina report examines a market characterized by strong digital adoption and player interest, alongside a jurisdiction-specific licensing framework. The study covers peso-based payments, local wallets and cash networks, mobile behavior, football-driven demand, and the trust factors that influence player acquisition and retention.
For Turkey, Uplatform analyzes a large digital audience operating within a more challenging market environment. The report covers Turkish-language localization, lira volatility, local payment methods, football and live betting, social and affiliate channels, as well as the legal and enforcement risks associated with market access.
Meanwhile, Malaysia is presented as a highly connected, mobile-first market shaped by regulatory, cultural and audience-specific considerations. The report analyzes local payment behavior, preferences for casino games and slots, interest in football, cricket and badminton, as well as community-driven discovery. The study also incorporates a Uplatform survey of more than 400 respondents.
A framework to assess market readiness
Each ebook includes a market overview and PESTL analysis, along with an assessment of opportunities and challenges, a player profile, and acquisition and retention analysis.
One of the key components is the Market Readiness Assessment Framework, which enables operators to evaluate their capabilities across six areas:
- Localization.
- Payments and finance.
- Regulation and compliance.
- Marketing and acquisition.
- Product and operations.
- Trust and retention.
According to Uplatform, the framework is designed to help teams identify potential gaps before committing resources and, where necessary, adjust their operating model, budget or market-entry strategy.
More markets to follow
Argentina, Turkey and Malaysia mark the beginning of the “Zoom In” collection. Uplatform said additional countries will be added to the series, expanding its library of market research and player insights.
The first three “Zoom In” reports are now available.
The reports are intended for commercial planning purposes and do not constitute legal, regulatory, tax or compliance advice. Operators should obtain jurisdiction-specific advice before making market-entry decisions.
