(London).- Major gaming machine supplier, Blueprint Operations, part of the Gauselmann Group, has this week signed an agreement with Game Payment Technology (GPT), to integrate its world-leading cashless digital wallet into Blueprint machines. The agreement paves the way for operators to offer their customers a cashless payment option using GPT’s digital wallet on a wide range of Blueprint products.
David Purvis, MD of Blueprint Operations, commented: “The need for cashless payment solutions is long overdue, and Blueprint are delighted to be in a position to be able offer our customers GPT’s fully integrated and tested solution on our products.”
John White, Chief Executive of bacta, which established Game Payment Technology with payment experts, Polar Moment Limited, said: “This is fantastic news for the industry. Blueprint produces some of the most widely used and popular machines in the UK. The combination of Blueprint and GPT’s system will give players the opportunity to use cashless technology to pay for their entertainment in pubs up and down the country from the GPT digital wallet.”
GPT director, Tim Stratton, added “We are very pleased that Blueprint is the first manufacturer to support the introduction of GPT using the GBG EFT protocol.”
