“Receiving the Game Developer Award of the Year at SiGMA Europe is a highly important achievement for Evoplay”

(Malta, SoloAzar Exclusive).- During the SiGMA Malta Expo, SoloAzar did a brief interview with Vladimir Malakchi, Chief Commercial Officer at Evoplay, where he shared his thoughts about his experience at this edition 2022, the award the company received - Game Developer of the Year - and the products released for the upcoming World Cup.
“I think this is a good end of the year. For me, SiGMA Malta has been always an opportunity to see partners and friends. You always do business if you have a good relationship with each other, so for Evoplay and for me, SiGMA is a chance to see our friends from different parts of the world in one place, discuss both work- and non-work-related stuff and just enjoy time together and see what the plans are for next year. Besides it, at SiGMA, you always make new friends. And this year, I have seen a lot of people at the show as well as established new connections, so I’m fully delighted about how the event went for Evoplay”.
“I think the award is showing that our team is creating amazing products. Receiving the Game Developer Award of the Year is a highly important achievement for Evoplay, and I hope it is not the last one for us here” he then adds: “For me, the award is physical feedback from the industry – recognition of our efforts, constant experiments and hard work. And I’m very happy to see that the whole iGaming industry appreciates it.”
Talking about the products, Malakchi commented: “The World Cup is coming, and Evoplay has prepared a really powerful gaming tool, suitable for both casino and sports betting audiences. Our Football Pack includes several football-themed and betting-facilitated games - Penalty Shoot-out, Football Bet and Penalty Series. Recently, we have also presented a new title to it, Football Scratch, which combines the thrills of football and the lottery, so I believe this World Cup casino players, bettors and football fans overall are equipped like never before.’
With regard to the gaming market and the Metaverse, he answered the following: “For me, it’s kind of a controversial question with its cons and pros. From one point of view, there are a lot of potentially positive changes the metaverse can bring to the world, but from another point of view, it’s the way that leads to Utopia, which is not a good thing. But I believe with the right approach to it and balance in mind, metaverse can implement exceptionally outstanding opportunities within iGaming and the whole world of entertainment and not only.”
Commenting about the markets, he concluded: “Right now, we are expanding our global reach - both in Europe and Latin America, and for next year, our market goals are even more ambitious. Alongside the establishment of new partnerships in territories we’re already operating now, we’re setting new targets. At the moment, we see great potential in such markets as Spain, Greece, Sweden, Denmark, and Peru. All of them are on the table of discussion with our team, and in the nearest time, we will announce our expansion plans publically.”
