Peru makes official the appointment of Yuri Guerra Padilla as General Director of Casino Games and Slot Machines

(Lima, Exclusive SoloAzar)- The Executive Branch of Peru has made official the appointment of Yuri Guerra Padilla as the new General Director of Casino Games and Slot Machines. The decision was published in the official newspaper El Peruano on Tuesday, June 18, consolidating the appointment in a position of vital importance for the regulation and supervision of the gaming industry in the country.
Yuri Guerra Padilla has 15 years of experience in public management, and held the position on an interim basis since February of this year after the departure of Eduardo Sevilla Echavarría. In this way, it takes on this challenge with the aim of strengthening controls and guaranteeing transparency in the sector. His appointment seeks to promote the development of a gaming industry that operates under strict standards of legality and social responsibility.
The new general director has expressed his commitment to working collaboratively with the different entities and companies in the sector to ensure compliance with current regulations and promote responsible gaming practices. Likewise, it will focus on implementing strategies that contribute to the prevention of money laundering and the fight against illegal activities related to gambling.
