(Las Vegas, SoloAzar Exclusive).- The global gaming industry marked G2E’s 25th anniversary with a major gathering in Las Vegas. CT Interactive stood out for its innovative product development and international growth strategy. Account Manager LATAM at CT Interactive, Roberto Muñoz, shared insights on G2E’s importance, emerging trends, and the company’s collaborative expansion efforts.
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of G2E, the global gaming industry once again gathered in Las Vegas. Among the key participants was CT Interactive, a company recognized for its dynamic approach to product development and market expansion.
In this interview with SoloAzar, Roberto Muñoz, Account Manager LATAM at CT Interactive, discusses what makes G2E a vital event for the gaming ecosystem, the trends shaping the industry’s future, and how CT Interactive continues to enhance its presence across international markets through innovation and collaboration.
G2E Las Vegas: A Hub for Innovation, Collaboration, and Industry Dialogue
“This year, my primary motivation for attending G2E was to engage directly with our land-based clients and support them in their transition to the online market. Having developed my expertise in the land-based industry, I see this as both a professional continuity and a natural progression. Many traditional operators are increasingly recognizing the opportunities within online gaming, and we are proud to serve as their strategic partners in this evolution. Additionally, G2E remains a vital platform for maintaining industry visibility and strengthening professional relationships, particularly on the occasion of its 25th anniversary,” he affirmed.
Benchmarking Innovation to Meet Latam’s Market Demands
“G2E continues to serve as a key reference point for the direction of the industry, offering a unique opportunity to observe trends firsthand—not only in products and technology but also in player experience,” said Muñoz. “For me, it is essential to benchmark our own developments and solutions against those presented by other companies. This perspective ensures that our offerings remain aligned with market expectations and allows us to assess the evolution of the industry, particularly in a dynamic region such as Latin America.”
Innovation in Payments and Game Design Drives Convergence
Roberto Muñoz was particularly impressed by the growth of solutions related to online payment methods, which are increasingly gaining importance as regulations in the region continue to mature. “I also observed notable advancements in game design and in creating entertainment experiences that seamlessly integrate physical and digital environments. This type of innovation further underscores the ongoing convergence between land-based and online gaming—a trend we closely monitor at CT Interactive.”
G2E Las Vegas: The chance to connect and build relationships
“Without a doubt, networking opportunities remain the most valuable aspect of G2E for me. Beyond the conferences, the true differentiator is the opportunity for face-to-face interaction with partners, clients, and colleagues across the industry. This year, I had the pleasure of reconnecting with several contacts from Latin America with whom I had previously lost touch, which was particularly rewarding. Additionally, during our private event, we invited our clients to enjoy a fine meal while reviewing projects, exploring new opportunities, or simply celebrating our business relationships in a more relaxed and friendly setting,” said Muñoz on the matter.
Regulation, Digitalization, and Human Connection in Latin America's Gaming Future
“I am leaving G2E with a clearer understanding of how regulation and digitalization are shaping the future of gaming in Latin America. An increasing number of traditional operators are seeking to expand into the online segment, creating significant opportunities for collaboration between land-based offerings at CT gaming and digital product and service offerings from CT Interactive. I also return with fresh ideas regarding product integration, player retention strategies, and payment solutions—all of which are critical to strengthening our position in the region. In summary, G2E 2025 reaffirmed my conviction that the future of the gaming industry lies in connecting technological innovation with the human relationships that underpin it,” he concluded.
