Eman Pulis on SiGMA’s Global iGaming Expansion and Innovation

Emerging Markets and B2B iGaming Opportunities

Which emerging markets offer the greatest opportunities for B2B iGaming businesses?

I see significant opportunities in Latin America, Africa and parts of Asia. Brazil is particularly interesting as its regulated market develops, creating opportunities for operators, technology providers, payment companies and affiliates. Africa also has considerable potential, driven by mobile adoption and expanding digital infrastructure, while Asian markets offer opportunities for businesses that understand their local regulatory environments.

At SiGMA, we want to help businesses navigate these markets by connecting them with local partners, regulators and industry leaders. Sustainable growth comes from understanding each market and building partnerships that deliver long-term value.

Key Trends Shaping SiGMA World Rome 2026

Which trends, innovations and challenges will dominate B2B conversations at this year's event?

Regulation, artificial intelligence, payments and responsible gaming will be central to industry discussions. Businesses are exploring how AI can improve efficiency, strengthen fraud prevention, and enhance player protection while navigating challenges related to data privacy and compliance.

At SiGMA World Summit Rome, taking place from 02 to 05 November 2026, we are bringing gaming, technology, finance and affiliate marketing together. This creates opportunities to explore shared challenges, exchange expertise and develop partnerships across industries.

An Increasingly International and Diverse Audience

How would you describe SiGMA's visitor profile, and how has it evolved?

Our audience has become increasingly international and diverse, bringing together operators, affiliates, suppliers, investors, technology startups and regulators. What began as a more locally focused event in Malta has grown into a global platform connecting businesses and decision-makers across multiple markets.

Traditional gaming businesses remain at the heart of our events, but we are seeing greater participation from companies working in AI, blockchain, financial technology and digital marketing. This mix creates opportunities for collaboration and allows visitors to build relationships beyond their immediate sectors.

Bridging Traditional Gaming with Web3 and AI

How is SiGMA bridging traditional gaming with Web3, AI and other emerging technologies?

We bring established gaming businesses together with technology companies, investors and entrepreneurs to explore practical opportunities for collaboration. AI, blockchain and financial technology are creating new possibilities across payments, security, marketing and operational efficiency.

Our summit in Rome showcases the same principle by bringing together SiGMA World, AIBC, FX World, and AGS, uniting different sectors under one roof. The objective is to build partnerships that will deliver real value to businesses through emerging technologies while complying with all regulations.

SiGMA’s Long-Term International Growth Strategy

What are SiGMA's long-term growth plans for the coming years?

Our ambition is to strengthen SiGMA's international presence while expanding the value we offer to the industries we serve. We will continue developing opportunities in key markets, connecting businesses with local partners and bringing regulators, investors and technology leaders into the conversation.

We also see considerable potential in the convergence of gaming, AI, blockchain and financial services. For me, growth is not just about the size of our events. It is about the quality of the connections we create and our contribution to a responsible, sustainable industry. Malta will always be central to our story, but our ambition is global.
