During the interview, Leonardo Baptista, CEO and co-founder at Pay4Fun answered us about the kind of innovations he considers relevant for the future of the sector, highlighting payment and security solutions, adding that: “these technologies are essential for optimizing operations and ensuring competitiveness in the transforming market".

He also shared his vision on the commitment to responsible gaming as paramount for the sector. He highlighted those companies that “position gambling as a form of entertainment and condemning the association of gambling as a source of extra revenue”

In addition, when asked how the event contributes to understanding the trends and needs of the North American market, Baptista noted that G2E provided valuable insight into the sports betting landscape in the region. “Taking place in Las Vegas, a city known for entertainment, it was easy to identify the main market trends within the event space,’ he explained. He noted that in North American culture there is a strong appreciation for physical casinos and an adaptation to new online functionalities, which shows a high potential for expansion into the digital universe. He added that “the physical casino products presented at the event were impressive and demonstrate how investment in the sector is growing every year."  In relation to online sports betting, he commented that “the regulation of sports betting was seen as an important step for total revenue growth in the sector, indicating how these themes, along with responsible gaming, encompass the needs of both the Brazilian and international markets.”

Finally, we asked him about the importance of Pay4Fun's presence at G2E, to which Baptista expressed that it is essential because “these meetings allow networking and exchanging ideas with other leaders”. As for the relevance of networking with other professionals during the event, he stated that in these types of meetings “making connections is crucial to identify trends and create strategic partnerships”. In addition, G2E provides a valuable space to discuss challenges and share best practices, which, according to Baptista, “strengthens our ability to adapt and innovate, especially in the dynamic sports betting market."
