GAT Mexico will participate for the second time in the Golf & Gaming Tournament

GAT Events confirmed its participation as a sponsor of the 4th Golf & Gaming Tournament, which will be held this Thursday, August 27 at the Paraíso Country Club, Morelos. The meeting will bring together representatives of the Mexican gaming industry around golf, business integration and social responsibility.

This will be the second time that GAT will participate in supporting the initiative, with the aim of contributing to a space that, in addition to promoting the relationship between the different actors in the sector, allocates resources to social causes related to children and adolescents.

Donations for two social organizations

The donations raised during the tournament will participate in supporting Centro SUMA and Fundación Criantia, organizations that develop programs aimed at children, adolescents and their families.

Centro SUMA offers medical, physical and psychological care, as well as treatments, surgeries and therapies for children and adolescents with cleft lip and palate conditions who are in a situation of social vulnerability.

For its part, Fundación Criantia works on the transformation of parenting patterns towards models based on love and family unity. Its work aims to strengthen the socio-emotional development of children and includes the accompaniment of mothers, fathers, caregivers and educational agents.

Networking and community engagement

The 4th Golf & Gaming Tournament will call on leaders, operators and suppliers from the gaming industry, who will make donations in a personal and business capacity to support the work of both institutions.

Representing GAT Events will be Alexandra Hernández, commercial director of the company, who will join the representatives of the Mexican sector during the day.

"For GAT Events it is very important to accompany this project again. The gaming industry has the capacity to generate value, not only from business and business development, but also by supporting causes that have a direct impact on communities," said José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO of GAT Mexico.

The executive added: “This tournament allows us to contribute to the work carried out by Centro SUMA and Fundación Criantia transforming lives, and, therefore, we thank its organizers for the opportunity to share the Golf & Gaming Tournament jersey.”

An alliance with Centro SUMA

The participation of GAT Events is also part of a special alliance with Centro SUMA, aimed at disseminating and promoting the work of the organization.

Through this collaboration, the company seeks to expand the visibility of Centro SUMA's programs and generate spaces to link companies and leaders in the gaming industry in Latin America with different social causes.

GAT aims to strengthen its CSR strategy

Looking ahead to the end of 2026 and during 2027, GAT Events plans to strengthen its commitment to corporate social responsibility in the different jurisdictions where it develops its events.

The company aims for its presence in Latin American markets to transcend the strictly business sphere and contribute to the well-being and development of the communities in which it operates.
