Next week, on September 18 and 19, an academic and commercial meeting will be held at the Renaissance Jaragua Hotel & Casino in line with the development that the industry is experiencing, based on the recent regulation of online gaming that is marking a turning point. turning point in the history of gaming and betting in the Caribbean country that presents positive expansion figures. The latest ECLAC report concludes that the economy of the Dominican Republic has grown by 23.2% in recent years, boosting the indicators of the Central American region.

Gaming & Technology Expo has brought together entrepreneurs and leaders of the sector from the Dominican Republic and neighboring countries, in three consecutive events held in 2021, 2022 and 2023 in Punta Cana, with an important academic component and exhibition in stands. In 2024, the organization welcomed the suggestion of local operators and authorities to move the headquarters to the country's capital.
