´I see great opportunities in the Chilean market´: Sebastián Sierra, Doradobet

(Santiago de Chile, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Sebastián Sierra, Head of Business Development at Doradobet, granted an interview to SoloAzar during the firm's participation in CGS Latam, which took place last week in Chile. "We hope that Chile will speed up the regulation of the online gaming sector," he said.
How have you seen this edition of CGS Chile, the market, the country?
We are very happy to be here at CGS, to see familiar faces, regulators, operators, payment methods, platforms, journalists, magazines, media, and to be able to be here all united after a long wait, after losing a little fear of the subject of covid. Networking, panels, interaction between people, operators, which is very important for the gaming industry, is being reactivated.
I see great opportunities in the Chilean market, a market that is already very open, especially in terms of payment methods, which will facilitate the insertion of the sports betting and online casino market in the country, despite the fact that there is no clean clear regulation, there are no prohibitions either, but we already see a concern on the part of the government, which is good, because in some way it will accelerate the regulation of online, so we hope that, as Peru is doing it at the moment, that Chile will accelerate its regulation.
How do you see the future of the company for this year?
We are currently in some markets in Central America and Peru. We hope to have nearby markets, and Chile is one of them. So we hope that the issue of Chilean regulation to participate in this market will be clarified a little more. We look forward to participating in the upcoming events in Peru and Brazil this year.
