(London, Exclusive SoloAzar).- Eduardo Aching, Vice President, International Gaming Operations at Konami granted an interview to SoloAzar about the performance and highlights of the firm during the ICE London 2024 edition and he also commented on how they are preparing for the next ICE in Barcelona 2025: “Our team is focusing a lot of effort on building quality relationships with casino customers, and supporting wherever possible with a variety of entertainment and technology solutions”.

ICE London 2024: Konami showcased the award-winning DIMENSION slot cabinet line, among several new game series

What novelties have you presented at the last edition of ICE in London?

A variety of land-based slot series, iGaming content, and SYNKROS casino systems technology from Konami Gaming, Inc. arrived on floor of ICE London 2024. This year’s show featured several new game series available on our award-winning DIMENSION slot cabinet line, with All Aboard, Fortune Mint Trinity, Stuffed Coins, and Chili Chili Fire Hot Rush among the most highly anticipated releases. With sights on further European growth, Konami’s iGaming team connected with current and prospective customers throughout ICE 2024 to share the newest available games for omni-channel deployment through the company’s remote gaming server (RGS). Representatives from our SYNKROS casino systems team were also engaged in meetings during this year’s event, to share the latest award-winning systems tools and technology.

Could you describe how was your presence at ICE booth?

Konami’s iGaming and SYNKROS casino systems technology was at the heart of this year’s ICE booth. Konami continues to see growth in these product sectors, which we also aim to deliver to our longtime casino customers across Europe. In addition, Konami’s ICE stand was covered in the latest land-based game releases, which are popular with players around the globe.

In commercial terms, what is your evaluation? Did you achieve the goals proposed? Did new collaborations or business alliances emerge?

This year’s ICE 2024 event has arrived at an important time for us and the customers we serve. Our Konami team and exclusive distributors look forward to a busy year ahead, connecting with customers and finding innovative ways to partner.

What aspect can you highlight about the changes and the future of the industry? How is the company preparing for it?

Across nearly every industry, we are seeing the desire for consumers to engage with brands both online and through traditional brick and mortar locations. Konami helps today’s casinos achieve this through our owned Remote Gaming Server (RGS), which integrates with popular Internet Gaming Servers (IGS) to deliver top Konami slot games to online players. When used in conjunction with traditional land-based Konami slots, the online Konami slots provide an omni-channel delivery of the games players already recognize and enjoy. We hope to work with more of our customers to deliver this omni-channel strategy in 2024 and beyond.

Concurrently, our land-based games product pipeline continues to be the greatest area of global demand. Successful omni-channel expansion relies upon a traditional land-based footprint, which Konami has long supported in the field and remains consistently committed.

When talking about new trends Do you use artificial intelligence for your products, services or user experience?

Konami is certainly active in technologies such as AI through our SYNKROS casino management system. For example, our SYNKROS team is leveraging AI through our award-winning SYNK Vision facial recognition technology. It uses state-of-the-art AI algorithms to identify and address potential harmful behaviors on the gaming floor by tracking both known and anonymous players, which in turn enhances player safety and well-being by alerting staff to signs of distress. SYNK Vision also facilitates the next generation of cardless login convenience by associating players to their loyalty account anytime they sit down at a gaming device, without the need for a traditional magstripe players card.

What aspects can you highlight from the last edition in London? And how are you preparing for Barcelona 2025?

Konami deeply appreciates the many valued customers who visited our exhibit at ICE 2024. Connecting with customers is the greatest highlight of any tradeshow event. Our team is focusing a lot of effort on building quality relationships with casino customers, and supporting wherever possible with a variety of entertainment and technology solutions. That is a big priority for us, as we look ahead to Barcelona 2025.
