What has the firm exhibited at ICE this year?
IGT presented a large, diverse portfolio of solutions for our international customers at ICE. I was very fortunate to meet with many of our customers from Latin America throughout the three-day event, and to introduce them to the next-generation IGT innovations for their casinos. I am particularly optimistic about our standalone progressive portfolio with games such as Hyper Hits, our continued progress within the core video segment with games such as Scarab, and our expanded multi-game offering with new USwitch and diversity HD content bundles.
What are the expectations and goals with which you come to the London show each year?
IGT views major tradeshows such as ICE as opportunities to align with our customers and to get their feedback on our product roadmaps for the coming year. We prioritize frequent visits with our customers but given that ICE aligns with the start of the calendar year, it provides an ideal venue for our customers to view our roadmap and plan their casino floor space accordingly.
What are the results of the company from ICE?
IGT was pleased with our showing at ICE and the many productive customer meetings that it allowed for. Our goal from a showcase such as ICE is to inspire excitement among our customers about our products, and to help them understand how and why our games, hardware and systems can help them fuel growth.

IGT will report its 2018 results on March 7. We are excited about 2019, believe in our products, and look forward to getting our many new games onto our customers’ casino floors.
The online games are being strengthened due to the fact that several countries continue to regulate. Do you think it can be a competition or complement to the land-based casino?
IGT has been in the land-based and digital gaming spaces for many years. Digital gaming is viewed as an important growth opportunity for the gaming industry, and one that is proven to complement brick and mortar casino operations. IGT recently formalized the IGT PlayDigital organization as a way for create an end-to-end “go digital” solution for our customers looking to pursue opportunities in online and mobile gaming. As the digital gaming market expands in Latin America and beyond, IGT is well positioned to help our customers benefit from the related business opportunities.
