(Malvern, Pennsylvania).- Crane Payment Innovations (CPI), a Crane Co. company, made full use of the opportunity to present its latest ground-breaking technology at the Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo (BEGE), the Bulgarian gaming show that took place between 21 and 22 November in Sofia.

New Technology from CPI Applauded at BEGE

As CPI has a strong foothold in the Balkan Peninsula, where many major operators already specify the SC Advance bill validator for its exceptional security and reliability, the company’s team was kept busy throughout both days of the show. But CPI had another reason to draw crowds at BEGE: the European premier of its new Easitrax Connect system.

Easitrax Connect is a unique hardware/software platform that leverages SC Advance and real-time connectivity to help operators manage their floors and their cash more profitably than ever before. It transforms performance and transaction data into valuable insights, so operators know the contents of each SC Advance cashbox at any given time and are made immediately aware of critical events such as a cashbox reaching capacity or a player’s attempt to use a suspicious banknote.

“Easitrax Connect gives casinos more control over their operations,” explains Anette Jauch, CPI sales director for EMEA Gaming. “Operators no longer need to wait until a cashbox is removed, checked and counted to confirm how much money it contains or how their bill validators are performing. Now, all that information is available in real time – and in great detail – through the Easitrax Connect dashboard. Our system will even send alerts if there is an immediate matter operators should tend to.”

CPI also showcased the Rimini Ticket Kiosk at BEGE. This compact solution enables players who don’t carry banknotes or prefer cashless methods of payment to purchase TITO tickets with debit and/or credit cards. Players can simply select the amount to be deducted from their card, and this amount is paid out by the kiosk as a TITO ticket, which can then be used for play at the slot machines.

“Cashless is growing practically everywhere and has indeed become a dominant form of payment in many countries. The Rimini Ticket Kiosk makes use of CPI’s cashless technology, along with the TransAct Epic 950 fanfold printer, to ensure that customers can enjoy gaming even when they do not carry banknotes with them,” concludes Ms. Jauch.
