(Santiago de Chile, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Diego Salas, Sales Manager for Altenar, granted an interview to SoloAzar during the firm's presentation at the CGS LATAM 2022 event, which took place last week in Chile. This sports betting software provider works mainly in Europe and is now growing a lot in Latin America.
How can you describe your experience and participation in this event?
Our participation in CGS Latam has been incredible. He was able to meet clients that they had not had the opportunity to meet in person. Besides, I have seen very good friends from this industry and many potential clients, so it has been interesting to be able to attend this event.
The panels have been interesting, especially everything related to the upcoming regulation of online gambling in Chile. Chile is a market that is important to us and we are hopeful for the prompt regulation to be able to enter this wonderful market. We are in talks with a couple of potential clients at the moment, and the law would give us the green light to start with interesting projects in the region. We now have clients in Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Jamaica and Mexico.
What are Altenar's next steps for the remainder of this year, in terms of presentations, launches, agreements?
At Altenar we are in a process of maturation, with clients that have grown considerably. We have a roadmap for our system, of which we have made a couple of releases this year, with excellent tools, which will greatly enhance our system to help our customers. But beyond the software and the improvements we are making, enhancing and improving our service, we firmly believe that it is not just about having good software but also an excellent service behind the software.
What other events will they attend?
We will be at many events. Personally after this show I will go to the Punta Cana event and then to PGS, Peru. We have another colleague who is going to represent us at the fair in Brazil, now in June, and we have a couple of partners and a colleague who are going to represent us at SIGMA, in Toronto, Canada, since we have a client who is going to start with the regulation in Toronto. About a month ago the regulation came out, so it is a market where fortunately we are already starting.
