(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- During PGS 2025, the International Gaming Fair held in Peru's capital, Karina Sensebé Quevedo, ProntoPaga's Sales Manager in Peru, presented "Yape One Click," the new feature that promises to transform the payment experience with a single touch. Here are the main points of her presentation and what this innovation means for the industry.
To begin, Karina Sensebé Quevedo, ProntoPaga's Sales Manager in Peru, explained that this is the second consecutive year that Prontopaga has been on PGS and that " ProntoPaga is a regional label that was created in 2021 as a result of a need that households had that year. Through Prontopaga, you in businesses can integrate all payment methods. We are a certified company that complies with all security requirements."
He added, “Prontopaga currently has operations in Peru, Chile, Argentina, Ecuador, Brazil, and we are soon working with Mexico and Colombia.”

Yape One Click
Karina then highlighted, “We all know that Yape is a super payment app, that all Peruvians have it. Yape has more than 18 billion Yaperos in Peru. It's one of the most used apps, the second most used app after WhatsApp. And when we launched our product with Yape, we created experience solutions like OneShot, which is a renewed Yape experience, allowing the user to make a one-time payment from the app. By entering the Yape app, as a user, I simply log in, register with Autentico, and make my payment, my one-time purchase. And here comes our launch of Yape on File.”

Yape on File
Speaking about the Yape on File feature, Karina said, "What it allows me to do is automatically redirect me to Yape when I log in to the store. Once I log in, it will ask me to join the store so that the second time I log in, the payment method will be added as Yape. Just like we currently do with credit cards, when we go to checkout and enter our card details, the security code, and the card is saved and set as default."
He also emphasized that, “In this case, when I approve the affiliation, the Yape number is already saved for my second purchase. That's Yape OneClick. Here, the conversion rate is high, higher, and in the case of subscription and recurring payments, what it does is similar to the previous one: it logs into the merchant and allows me to subscribe. I log into Yape and approve the affiliation so that the merchant can make the recurring payment.”

In closing
Finally, she explained, “To summarize the two main features I explained, it's super easy. I log in, register once, and then simply log in to make the payment. And in the case of subscription and recurring payments: I log in, subscribe, and enroll to sign up for insurance, online companies that want to offer periodic coverage, and they'll register in the description.”
