(Johannesburg, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Rengin Akcan, Ruby Technology Digital Marketing Manaer, granted an interview to SoloAzar at the company booth in recent ICE Africa show. "It has been a great opportunity for us to get into the African market," Rengin Akcan pointed.
Ruby Technology has its headquarters in Bulgaria and their developers are based in Cyprus. "We offer digital solutions by identifying the management needs of your land-based casino with our team specialized in casino software," said Akcan.
"This is our first time in ICE Africa, and this is the first time for the company in South Africa as well," she said, when asked about the show. "I think the show has been quite effective, our booth has been quite busy. I believe it is a great opportunity to be here and enter the African market with such an event."
With regard to the South African market, she commented: "It is much more developed and regulated than we have expected. Many big firms are here currently, and we have recently entered this market, but there is still a chance for us in here with our background and experience. So we'll see what happens after the show, but it has been a great opportunity for us to get into the market."
When asked about the average player profile, she answered: "We have been visiting casinos in here and had the chance to speak to the managers. I have learned that players in here are usually local people. In Cyprus we have a mixed profile; there are local people, but we also have many people coming out from the country to play in Cyprus."
Next shows for the company are Balkan Gaming Expo in Bulgaria in November, and then ICE London in February.
