(London, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Dulce Victoria Nano-Alejandro, Sales and Marketing Officer, Quinel Ltd. shared her views about recent ICE show, in which the company presented its novelties and also talked about the current situation of the sector, among other issues.
We finally met again in person at ICE London. What is the importance for the company of being present at this show?
It is an event where we can meet our partners, form new ones, and stay up to date on the
latest trends and regulations in the iGaming field.
What novelties have you prepared for this occasion? What is the firm exhibiting at your stand and what is the highlight?
We have a presence in 28 different jurisdictions. The recent additions of Greece and Ontario are a toast to us. The PCI ASV is another addition to our service.
After the last two years, due to the pandemic, we had to make changes and adapt both personally and professionally. How does the company face this "new normal" we are living right now?
We were able to adjust rather well because most of us relied on internet access at work, allowing us to work from home during the lockdown periods. During the pandemic, we used smart working practices and efficiently delivered our services. We have resumed our offices in Italy and Malta.
Online gaming is becoming stronger every day worldwide. What are the opportunities that arise, what are the benefits? Do you think that online gaming could be competition for land-based gaming or a complement?
With the steady increase of online gambling users, our partners have grown their businesses rapidly. This means that benefiting from the increasing accessibility and availability of online gaming, our businesses grow as well.
Brexit has been decisive for many companies when making the decision to participate or not in this edition of ICE London. How have you handled this issue? Is it an important issue when deciding to be present here?
For Quinel, Brexit was never been an issue. All of us got through quite flawlessly. ICE London is the biggest gaming event, and we must be present while keeping an eye on the current health situation. We were able to proceed to ICE same as always.
