(Cartagena, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Tigran Sharafyan, Digitain's Head of International Offices, granted an interview to SoloAzar. He talked about the firm´s recent participation at the latest edition of GAT EXPO and its accomplishments and strategies.

What novelties has the firm showcased at GAT 2022?


As I previously mentioned, our award-winning sportsbook was the main product offering for GAT, we came here with a much more complete product with now more than 90,000 live events and equipped with a lot of new useful features benefiting our potential customers in every direction of their operation, such as customer acquisition, retention, etc. and we keep developing it as we go forward.

What has been the feedback from customers and visitors to your booth?


First of all, everyone could notice that the company has changed the design concept of our stand to a new and fresher looking one and it was nice to hear positive feedback about this change. In general, everyone can clearly see what an important player Digitain is becoming in LatAm and how we have expanded our presence here due to our quality and investments we are doing for this market.

Which are the firm's strategies for the current year within the Colombian market, and Latin America in general?


One of the recent remarkable accomplishments for us was the GLI 19 and 33 certifications that we got for both our platform and sportsbook. Considering GLI is the acceptable certification standard for Colombia, the company made the strategic decision to get the product ready for this market. When it comes to Latin America in general, this year is going to be a game changing one for the company in terms of product development making us ready to satisfy most of the business needs and challenges that this market brings to the table.

Which other markets do you target? In what other trade shows do you plan to participate during 2022?


We are looking forward to continuing our journey in Argentina with Sagse participation and we have ICE coming soon with expectations of a lot of Latam businesses to be present there. And the next and most probably the last stop in our course across LatAm in 2022 will be the Peru Gaming Show in June.
