(Lima, SoloAzar Exclusive).- The organizer of the Peru Gaming Show closed a year marked by positive results, sectoral training, and regulatory debate, while preparing for a new edition that seeks to reaffirm its central role in the Latin American gaming industry.
With over two decades of history, the Peru Gaming Show (PGS) continues to establish itself as the international gambling trade show with the highest turnout in Latin America. Behind this positioning is AMG SAC, the company responsible for organizing the event, which reported a highly favorable balance for 2025 and is already working on projections for PGS 2026, scheduled for June 17 and 18 at the Jockey Exhibition Center in Lima.
Throughout the past year, AMG SAC not only promoted the traditional annual expo but also expanded its role as a generator of knowledge and debate for the industry, within a regional context shaped by regulatory changes and the sustained growth of online gaming.
A 2025 Defined by Training and a Record-Breaking Trade Show
The 2025 review leaves positive figures and impressions for the organization. Through AMG SAC, educational seminars aimed at professionals and industry executives were conducted, addressing key topics such as taxation, marketing, and oversight for both land-based and online operations.
"The PGS trade show once again proved why it is the most anticipated event in Latin America. We saw more than satisfactory results for exhibitors, operators, and gaming stakeholders from approximately 40 countries," highlighted Rubén Solórzano, General Manager of AMG.
The annual edition of the Peru Gaming Show reaffirmed its global character, featuring slot manufacturers, software developers, online gaming platforms, and sports betting providers who showcased cutting-edge technological solutions. According to the organizers, the objective is clear: to generate real opportunities for growth and development across various jurisdictions and emerging markets.
However, the year was also marked by a sensitive debate for the Peruvian sector: the implementation of the Remote Gaming Law and the application of the Selective Consumption Tax (ISC). On this point, AMG expressed a critical view. "The message being sent to the market is that revenue collection takes precedence, without considering the impact on corporate stability and the risk of pushing the industry toward informality and illegality," the organization warned.
PGS 2026: Growing with the Industry and Betting on Exclusivity
Looking ahead to 2026, AMG SAC maintains a defined strategy: to grow alongside the sector without diluting the event's value. With 14 years at the helm of the Peru Gaming Show’s administration and organization, the company upholds a model that prioritizes quality, attendance, and representativeness.
"Our goal has always been to benefit operators, suppliers, manufacturers, and all stakeholders linked to the industry. PGS grows to the extent that the sector grows," noted Joe López, CEO of AMG.
In a scenario where online gaming shows exponential growth compared to land-based, PGS is committed to maintaining its regional leadership with the presence of the most relevant brands in the gaming world. The organization is confident that PGS 2026 will replicate the sustained growth of previous years.
AMG is also closely monitoring the proliferation of parallel events in the region. Unlike other international trade shows, the Latin American calendar has become fragmented, leading to overlapping dates and exhaustion among industry players. "An excess of events causes fatigue, logistical overcosts, and hinders the full participation of operators and manufacturers, who ultimately prioritize being at PGS, the premier event," the company emphasized.
With this outlook, AMG SAC enters 2026 with the premise of consolidating PGS as the essential meeting point for gaming in Latin America, betting on a comprehensive, exclusive experience aligned with the industry's true needs.
