(Montevideo, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Karina Ferraioli, Master Affiliate Network Marketing Director, believes true growth comes from daring to take risks. Founding her company was a bold leap in a male-led industry. From Uruguay, she brings a fresh voice, proudly challenging tradition with collaboration. Know more in this interview.
The Uruguayan entrepreneur spotlights the growing role of women in iGaming. In an industry still dominated by men, Ferraioli calls for more female voices in leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship, sharing her own journey of risk-taking and resilience as inspiration for the next generation of women shaping the future of the sector.
More female voices needed
“For me, this date is a moment to recognize and reflect on the impact women have had across every key area of society: work, politics, science, medicine, and business. It is also a reminder that, even in 2026, there are still important gaps to close. Equality should not be a discussion anymore, yet we continue working toward it.
In the iGaming industry specifically, which is still largely male dominated, we are seeing progress but there is room for more women in C level roles, founding companies, and leading innovation. Women are highly prepared, experienced, and capable of disrupting markets and building strong businesses.
I hope this day inspires more women to step forward, create, innovate, and take leadership positions. There is still so much to build in this industry, and we need more female voices shaping its future.”
What key lessons have you learned from co-founding Master Affiliates Network and leading its marketing strategy?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is simple: if you don’t take risks, you don’t grow. Founding my own company required taking a huge personal and professional leap. Entering the market as a woman founder in an industry still largely led by European men is not always easy. But I chose to embrace being different. I come from Uruguay, I bring a fresh perspective, and I am proud to challenge traditional standards with a new collaborative model.
I’ve learned the importance of being brave and trusting my instincts. Impostor syndrome is real, but it cannot lead your decisions. You have to step outside your comfort zone.
I also learned that consistency matters more than perfection. Launching and improving is better than waiting for everything to be flawless. Most importantly, I’ve learned not to let fear or judgment stop me. Progress comes from action, not hesitation.
What are your top goals for 2026 in driving innovation, growth, and female leadership in the affiliate sector?
For 2026, my main objective is to firmly position Master Affiliates Network within the industry. We want to secure key partnerships, strengthen our presence in major markets, expand our network globally, and begin scaling the team by hiring the right talent. Growth and structured expansion are top priorities.
From an innovation perspective, we aim to continue refining our collaborative model, releasing new features, and improving transparency and trust within affiliate marketing.
On a personal level, after 14 years in the corporate world, this is the first time I am intentionally building my personal brand. I want to share my experiences, insights, and lessons learned, and become an active voice in marketing and iGaming. My goal is to position myself as a woman leader in the industry and, most importantly, inspire other women to trust their instincts, take risks, and build their own ideas and companies.
What advise would you give to empower women to lead in iGaming?
-Work hard and stay consistent. Learn something new every day, ask questions, and stay curious. Growth comes from constantly challenging yourself.
-If you feel stuck in your current role and don’t see real opportunities for development or promotion, don’t ignore that feeling. The industry is dynamic, and your career should evolve with it. Sometimes changing companies is necessary. And if, even after that, you still feel limited, it might be a sign that it’s time to create your own path.
-Starting your own company is not an easy decision, but if you truly believe in the value you bring to the market, taking that risk can be life-changing. Trust your instincts. Believe in your uniqueness.
-And most importantly, surround yourself with people who challenge you, support you, and believe in your vision. Building confidence takes time, but every small step forward counts. The industry needs more diverse voices, new perspectives, and bold ideas. If you feel that spark inside you, follow it.
