Aspire Global and Oddin sign a global partnership
⏱ 2 min read
(Prague).- Founded in 2005 and already with more than 60 iGaming brands, AspireGlobal is one of the largest and most successful companies in the iGaming industry. This position was even further strengthened over the last couple of years with the Pariplay and Btobet acquisitions. Now they are turning their attention to esports.
Oddin is perceived as a trusted esports betting provider in the industry. Only this year, they have signed multiple partnerships with both operators as well as platforms providers. As of now, they will provide a truly engaging esports-centric solution to a massive network of sportsbook brands under the Aspire Global umbrella. It is a clear sign that esports betting is gaining interest from the major players within the industry.
‘’The esports vertical is increasingly registering a growth in its marketshare, especially since its player demographics are distinct from those that characterise the standard legacy sports betting vertical. Considering how much emphasis we place in providing a betting experience tailored for all player segments, it is imperative for us to ensure we are in a position to provide our partners with solutions that enable them to onboard the younger generation shaping the esports vertical.’’ said Sabrina Soldà, BtoBet’s Chief Marketing Officer.
Marek Suchar, Head of Partnerships at Oddin stated: ‘’The way we think about esports betting has translated into our relationship with a company like AspireGlobal, one of the biggest and most respected brands in the industry. I am extremely glad to partner with Morten, Dima, Jov, and their team to deliver our vision to the vast network of their partners. From the very beginning, we believed that esports betting has the potential to become an important vertical for all the operators. This is why we developed a solution that can bring the engagement that the industry currently misses. With this partnership, our esports betting experience is made available to hundreds of operators. ’’
Esports betting has increased in popularity in the last couple of years while receiving an extra boost last year when traditional sports were suspended due to the pandemic. For many operators, the volumes are not yet high as their offering is weak and they do not appeal to millennials. Oddin is changing the level of engagement operators can achieve with their esports offering and doing so with strong partners like Aspire Global. Their partnership envisions to significantly improve the esports experience for esports bettors globally and bring esports to the top 3 sports in the upcoming years.
