Merkur Group Deepens Strategic Partnership with Spintec Through New Corporate Investment

Merkur Group announced a major expansion of its long-standing collaboration with Spintec d.o.o., the Slovenia-based developer and manufacturer of high-end Electronic Table Games (ETGs). What began as a technological partnership in 2019 has now evolved into a strategic corporate investment, with Merkur acquiring a substantial stake in Spintec. The move marks a new milestone in the companies’ cooperation and reinforces Merkur’s position in the global gaming market.

“Spintec is a highly innovative and successful ETG specialist, distinguished above all by outstanding quality and a strong global footprint,” said Dominik Raasch, Management Board Member, Merkur Games. “This investment is a real asset for the Merkur Group and an important driver of our international growth strategy.”

Over the years, the partnership has thrived thanks to the powerful combination of Spintec’s cutting-edge ETG technology and Merkur Group’s robust distribution infrastructure, broad international network, and longstanding customer relationships. Raasch emphasized that the collaboration has created strong synergies, enabling both companies to deliver advanced ETG solutions to an expanding global audience. “Building on our achievements to date and further expanding this especially successful strategic partnership was the natural next step for both sides,” he added.

Spintec is recognized as one of the world’s leading developers, manufacturers, and suppliers of Electronic Table Games. The company’s compact and amphitheatre-style gaming solutions are known for their technical precision and contemporary design, contributing to a strong market presence across Latin and North America, Europe, and significant regions of Asia. By strengthening its alliance with Spintec, Merkur Group expands not only its geographic reach but also the diversity of its product offering. “With Spintec at our side, we can offer operators an even broader range of gaming experiences – further strengthening Merkur’s position as a reliable full-service gaming provider,” Raasch stated.

Goran Miškulin, CEO of Spintec, echoed the enthusiasm for the deepened partnership. “Over the past years, we have seen just how well Merkur and Spintec complement one another,” he said. “This is demonstrated especially by our cooperation with Merkur Spielbanken, where our ETG solutions are already successfully deployed in numerous Merkur casino properties. I am confident that this investment will allow us to exceed the results of our partnership so far and unlock additional synergies that will create value for both organizations.”

With this significant investment, Merkur Group and Spintec are poised to accelerate their shared vision of delivering premium, technologically advanced gaming solutions to operators worldwide.
