(Detroit).- The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has issued cease-and-desist letters to 10 illegal offshore operators owned by Apex Dynamics Ltd., a company based in Belize. This decisive action underscores the agency’s unwavering commitment to protecting lawful gaming activities and safeguarding Michigan consumers from unregulated entities.

Michigan Gaming Control Board takes action against 10 illegal offshore operators

The following unlicensed operators received cease-and-desist letters from the MGCB for illegally offering a variety of casino-style games to Michigan residents:

• Aladdin’s Gold Casino
• All Star Slots
• Buzz Luck
• Club World Casinos
• CryptoReels
• High Noon
• Lucky Red Casino
• Manhattan Slots Casino
• ReelSpin Casino
• Slotter Casino

“The Gaming Control Board’s relentless dedication to maintaining the integrity of Michigan’s gaming industry drives our efforts,” said MGCB Executive Director Henry Williams. “We will continue to take strong action to shut down illegal operations that undermine trust in Michigan’s legal gaming system.”

A Clear Warning
The cease-and-desist letters sent serve as a clear warning to Apex Dynamics Ltd. and other entities operating illegally: the MGCB will not tolerate violations of state gaming regulations.

Investigations into these operators revealed multiple violations of Michigan state laws, including the Lawful Internet Gaming Act, the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, and the Michigan Penal Code.

Despite offering various payment options like Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and cryptocurrencies, these illegal operators impose restrictive withdrawal conditions, often requiring players to wager their initial deposits several times before allowing access to their winnings.

MGCB Remains Vigilant
The MGCB will remain vigilant in monitoring and taking action against any entities attempting to bypass compliance, ensuring the safety and fairness of gaming for all Michigan residents.

The 10 operators have been given 14 days from the date of receipt of their cease-and-desist letters to cease their illegal activities. If they fail to comply, the MGCB will work closely with the Michigan Attorney General’s Office to pursue further legal action.

Michigan residents are urged to exercise caution when engaging in online gaming. To confirm whether an online casino is licensed, players can visit the official MGCB website at Michigan.gov/MGCB, which features a list of authorized internet gaming providers. Individuals who suspect illegal gambling activity are encouraged to report it to the MGCB via its confidential hotline at 1-888-314-2682 or by emailing MIGamblingTip@michigan.gov.
