SBTech signs Pala Interactive partnership
⏱ 2 min read
(Malta).- SBTech, the leading sports betting and gaming technology supplier to the regulated iGaming sector, has partnered with Pala Interactive to offer its award-winning sportsbook technology to brands on the California-based company’s proprietary platform, further increasing its reach and rapid growth across North America.
The five-year agreement will see SBTech’s sportsbook solution integrated into Pala Interactive’s online platform, initially launching with two online brands; CanPlaySports and Vipcasino which are owned and operated by the Wôlinak Abenakis First Nation.
Pala Interactive is an online social and real money gaming software development company, majority owned by the Pala Band of Mission Indians that also own and operate the Pala Casino Spa and Resort in Pala, California.
SBTech fought off several sportsbook suppliers as part of a highly competitive tender process due to its proven track record of delivering revenue generating sportsbook solutions to a wide variety of clients in regulated markets. The Pala management team also recognised SBTech’s wide ranging risk management and technology expertise, achievements in product innovation and product flexibility, and its ability to localise its product offering across any territory.
Among the innovative products available to Pala and its customers are SBTech’s proprietary personalisation tools such as Yourbet Betbuilder that connect directly into an operator’s sportsbook platform, removing the need for third-party integrations. Yourbet Betbuilder is available across sports such as basketball, enabling players to custom build their own bets using real-time odds calculations based on their selections.
Richard Carter, CEO, SBTech, said: “We’re delighted Pala Interactive have selected us as partners ahead of our competitors due to our leading, flexible sportsbook technology that has been specifically tailored to the North American market. This partnership will benefit both companies as we continue to rapidly expand our presence across North America and as more US States regulate in the coming months and years ahead.”
Jim Ryan, CEO, Pala Interactive, said: “SBTech lead the way in omni-channel technology and innovation and their sportsbook’s powerful capabilities and flexibility are ideally suited to our customers’ requirements as they increasingly target sports betting and we grow our business across North America.
“This partnership has massive potential to grow even further as more states open and we’re both in a very strong position to capitalise on this.”
