(Milwaukee).- Wipfli´s annual “Indian Gaming Cost of Doing Business Report” has become an invaluable part of every Tribal gaming operation’s forecasting and financial toolbox. Now Wipfli has released the 21st edition, which includes detailed and insightful financial information from more than 105 Native American casinos.
“Simply stated, our Indian Gaming Cost of Doing Business Report is the only report that contains detailed operating statistics for Native American gaming operations. No other data like this is available for the Indian gaming industry anywhere, and we are proud to present this 21st annual edition,” said Partner Grant Eve.
The report contains 50 pages of casino profitability and expense measures unique to Tribal gaming. The report’s statistics cover essential categories, such as gaming revenue; non-gaming revenue, including hotel, F&B, gift shop, and other sources; direct and departmental expenses; and indirect or operating expenses.
Statistics for the report were gathered from Wipfli-conducted audits and from information volunteered by Tribal gaming operations across the U.S.
“Tribal operators of all sizes tell us they use our annual report to measure their operating revenue and expenses against like business. The data is incredibly valuable to help casinos ask themselves essential questions such as ‘What are other casinos doing that is working well," Are we leveraged in the right areas and in the right percentages?’ and ‘What do we need to stop doing immediately?’” Senior Manager Glen Galt said.
