(Brasilia).- The Ministry of Finance published on Wednesday Ordinance No. 874, which reorganises internal positions.

As a result of this measure, the Betting Prize Secretary, Regis Dudena, will now work directly in his office with two advisors who were already part of the portfolio.

The other reassignment was of a professional who was in charge of coordinating the monitoring of responsible gambling and was transferred to the Undersecretariat for Monitoring and Inspection.

The Secretariat for Prizes and Betting (SPA) was created earlier this year and has the mission of organising the sports betting sector in Brazil, as well as conducting the entire regulatory process. The secretariat is made up of three sub-secretariats:

  • Undersecretariat for Authorisation
  • Monitoring and Inspection Subsecretariat
  • Subsecretariat for Sanctioning Action

Reallocates Executive Commissioned Functions (FCE) and Executive Commissioned Positions (CCE) within the Ministry of Finance.

THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR THE FINANCE, in the use of the powers conferred on him by items I and IV of the sole paragraph of art. 87 of the Constitution, and in view of the provisions of item VI of art. 4 of Decree no. 11.907, of 30 January 2024, and of arts. 13 and 14 of Decree no. 10.829, of 5 October 2021, resolves:

Art. 1 The following Executive Commissioned Positions (CCE) are reallocated within the scope of the Prize and Betting Secretariat:

I - two Executive Commissioned Positions - CCE 2.07, of Assistant, from the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting to the Office of the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting;

II - one Executive Commissioned Position - CCE 2.05, of Technical Assistant, from the General Coordination of Regulation to the Office of the Secretariat of Prizes and Betting; and

III - an Executive Commissioned Position - CCE 2.05, of Technical Assistant, from the General Coordination for Monitoring Responsible Gaming to the Undersecretariat for Monitoring and Inspection of the Secretariat for Prizes and Betting.

Art. 2 The following CCEs and Executive Commissioned Functions - FCEs are reallocated within the scope of the Undersecretariat for Management, Information Technology and Budget:

I - an Executive Commissioned Function - FCE 2.10, of Technical Advisor, from the Undersecretariat for Management, Information Technology and Budget, for the General Coordination of Budget, Finance and Accounting; and

II - an Executive Commissioned Position - CCE 1.05, of Head of Administrative Support Service of the Undersecretariat of Management, Information Technology and Budget, to the Coordination of Physical Space Management, in the General Coordination of Logistics Resources.

Art. 3 The following CCEs and FCEs are reallocated and their categories and names changed within the scope of the Undersecretariat for Management, Information Technology and Budget:

I - an Executive Commissioned Function - FCE 1.07, of Head of the Functional Compliance and Monitoring Division of the Coordination of Orientation, Movement and Functional Monitoring of the General Coordination of People Management, to an Executive Commissioned Function - FCE 2.07, of Assistant, in the General Coordination of People Management; and

II - an Executive Commissioned Position - CCE 2.07, of Assistant, of the General Coordination of People Management, to an Executive Commissioned Position - CCE 1.07, of Head of the Functional Compliance and Monitoring Division of the Coordination of Guidance, Movement and Functional Monitoring of the General Coordination of People Management.

Art. 4 The category and denomination of the following CCEs and FCEs within the Office of the Secretary for International Affairs are altered:

I - from two Executive Commissioned Functions - FCE 4.07, of Specialised Technical Advisor, to two Executive Commissioned Functions - FCE 3.07, of Head of Project II;

II - from one Executive Commissioned Position - CCE 3.07, as Head of Project II, to one Executive Commissioned Position - CCE 1.07, as Head of Division; and

III - from an Executive Commissioned Position - CCE 2.05, of Technical Assistant, to an Executive Commissioned Position - CCE 3.05, of Project Manager I.

Art. 5 The changes resulting from this Ordinance:

I - will be reflected in future proposals to amend the decree approving the Regimental Structure and the Table of Commissioned Positions and Functions of Trust of the Ministry of Finance; and

II - will be registered in the Federal Government's Institutional Organisation and Innovation System (SIORG) by the working day prior to the date this Ordinance comes into force.

Art. 6 This decree comes into force seven working days after its publication.
