mkodo goes live with app enhancement for British Columbia Lottery Corporation
⏱ 1 min read
(London).- Digital experiences provider mkodo has released an enhanced version of the British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s (BCLC) official app which now offers customers the functionality to purchase and check lottery tickets.
Following an extensive update, the entirely native app is now fully transactional so customers can register, login, deposit funds, withdraw funds and most importantly, purchase and subscribe to lottery tickets.
Players can now also scan retail tickets to instantly see if they are a winner.
The fully iOS native app is compliant with Apple’s updated guidelines which requires apps to be standalone and sufficiently different from a Safari browsing experience.
Stuart Godfree, Managing Director and co-founder of mkodo, said: “We first launched BCLC’s app over a year ago, but customers have been regularly asking to have the functionality of easily purchasing lottery tickets via mobile, and we are thrilled to now be able to offer BCLC’s customers this option and hope they enjoy the new experience.”
mkodo has extensive experience from working with lotteries as well as betting and gaming clients, which include the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Grosvenor Casino, Mecca Bingo and Danske Spil.
The supplier was recently granted an Associate Membership to the World Lottery Association in recognition of its status as a respected supplier to the global lottery sector.
